Ethical dilemmas of social working with children with malfunction of behaviour
VOŠAHLÍKOVÁ, Iva
The aim of the thesis is to articulate individual dilemmas in social work with children with behavioural problems. Thanks to the specification of the facility in which I work as a social worker, i.e. an educational institution for girls, which includes a unit for underage mothers with children, I will break down at work the various dilemmas associated with working with this target group. The dilemma itself may be whether pregnant underage girls should be placed in institutions of institutional education, whether they are competent to care for their child when they are still children themselves. They have behavioural problems, some of them also suffer from psychiatric disorders, are or have been drug users. They have different value orientations. Social workers in institutional education deal with various dilemmas, it is (according to Matthew): formalisation and deformation, professionalisation and deprofessionalisation, normalisation and abnormality, assistance and social control, polyvalence and specialisation. In Musil's view, complex or simplified objectives can be addressed, neutrality or favoritism, procedural or situational approach, material or non-material assistance, intervention or non-intervention. The work will be complemented by ethical theories that can help a social worker make decisions.

Oligarchization of the Media and its Influence on the Ethics of Journalism
Mačí, Josef ; Moravec, Václav (advisor) ; Miessler, Jan (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the problem of media oligarchization and its influence on the ethics of journalism. Based on the synthesis of existing theoretical concepts, a narrower definition of the terms oligarch and media oligarch is presented in the text. On this theoretical basis, the situation in 31 selected European countries from the point of view of media oligarchization is evaluated by comparing the methodologies of three media indicators - Freedom House's Freedom and the Media, Reporters Without Borders's Press Freedom Index and Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom's Media Pluralism Monitor. This is considered primarily a problem of post-communist and post-colonial countries, and the diploma thesis tests this assumption. The problem of ethics of journalistic work within the scope of media oligarchization is presented on a theoretical as well as practical level, based on a chronological comparison of ethical codes of three selected media groups - MAFRA, Vltava Labe Media and Czech News Center, which changed ownership from a multinational group to an oligarch or an oligarchic group.

Ethics in healthcare with focus on radiology assistant
FLAŠKOVÁ, Veronika
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of ethics in health care, focusing on radiology assistants. Due to the development of many new technologies, means of diagnostics and therapeutic procedures, there is a great focus on the quality of professional expertise considering radiology assistants. However, this profession requires extraordinary abilities such as a delicate approach towards the patient, basic knowledge from the branch of ethics, nursing and communication skills. In the theoretical part, I tried to briefly define concepts of morality, conscience, ethics and ethical theory. Another part of my thesis is focused on fundamental ethical principles, the relationship between ethics and law, deals with ethical codes among health care professions and defines the branch of Radiology Assistance. Although this topic mainly appertains to the branch of ethics, I also focused on the issue of euthanasia in the conclusion of my theoretical part. The main aim of the study was to describe and analyze ethical issues and problems that a radiology assistant has to cope with in his profession and what is the level of general knowledge of the ethics by radiology assistants. Another goal was to determine whether they are adequately prepared for dealing with ethical issues. The empirical part presents the results of the survey, which were processed into the tables and graphs. Questionnaires were distributed among the employees of radiodianostic department, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine. The results show that knowledge of the fundamental ethical principles or codes related to their work is not sufficient. The results also show that the most frequent ethical issues are disruption and disrespect towards the intimacy of the patient, inadequate addressing of the patient and insufficient communication, which is often related to long working hours.
